Intro to HTML This week you will be introduced to the World Wide Web and the basics of creating web pages with HTML!
Learning Objectives
This week you will learn how to create web pages using HTML elements for:
- Headings
- Text formatting (bold, italic, etc.)
- Line breaks
- Unordered and ordered lists
- Links
- Images
Announcements
- No-show/drop Be aware of LCC’s no-show/drop policy. You need to come to class once during the first week, or take the quiz in order to not be automatically dropped!
- Last day for a refund Monday, Oct. 5, is the last day to get a refund if you drop a class.
This Week’s To-Do List
- Read the Getting Started Guide and the syllabus.
- Post your introduction in the Introductions discussion (early in the week, please).
- Install Visual Studio Code.
- Do the reading: selected sections in The HTML Handbook.
- Watch the lecture recordings and read the lecture notes.
- Take Quiz 1 — due Thursday, October 1, by 11:59 pm.
- Start Lab 1 — due Thursday, October 8, by 11:59 pm.
