Term Project Proposal

CIS 195, Web Authoring 1: HTML and CSS

Objectives

The term project is your opportunity to practice and demonstrate all the HTML and CSS concepts and skills you’ve learned this term by building a multi-page web site with content of your choice. This proposal is your plan for that site. Writing it now gives you time to gather content and images and get feedback before you start making the site.

Consult the Term Project Requirements so you know what you need to include in your sit.

Project Suggestions

These are just ideas to help spark your imagination. You don’t have to do one of these projects.

Proposal

Write a proposal with these parts:

  1. Description: Two paragraphs describing what your site will be about, who the audience is, and what you want visitors to get from it.
  2. Pages: A list of the five (or more) pages, with a sentence about the purpose of each one.
  3. Required elements: Which page will have the table, and what it will show. Where the three figures will go, and where you will put images.

I don’t expect you to know how you will use the CSS layout features we haven’t covered yet, but describe how your site will use the HTML and CSS you have learned so far.

Submission
